Decision to take my 8 months old to Play School

💫let the learning life begin ðŸ’«
Aleen's first day at school was one crazy experience. Everyday she wakes up at 7 regardless of the time she sleeps and that day she was fast asleep till 8:15. (Quite a cliche start)

Like everywhere else, we rushed to school. But, once we were there my little sunshine was so comfortable and wanted to crawl all around
                                                                   ....................
The word SCHOOL is generally synonymous to early mornings, big bags and crying kids pushed inside the school gate.
So when I brought up the idea of ' play school', no one liked it and only focused on 'school' and ignored 'play'. But I knew I wanted aleen to be around other kids in a constructive environment so I ignored all the 'hawww haye' comments and started looking for our kind of play school.

Setting up life in new city means cluelessness, so being new in Karachi I had no idea about schools
. I looked online, posted on forums, asked mommy friends and made a little list :
 •Gymboree
 •Kids and Co
•Toddler town
•Emma's Play School

We visited the schools, attended open house and demo classes( except Emma's)
.
Every place had its positives and negatives, but our primary criteria was 'experienced and trained teachers'. And based on this criteria we selected kids and co for mom and toddler program. Now Me and aleen will attend 1 hour class twice a week.
Now let's see how right the decision was..

 * I have been calling and messaging all these places so much that now when I go to meet the management and mention my name they say ' ohh yeah the one from Facebook
